Winter White

Figgy Pudding.eight 1/2 yd. cuts purchased from Quilt Taffy, The Sproutz Store, and Sew Inspired.extra fabric to play with.maybe another against the red background.72 flying geese. that's alot. my ruler made things easier. although i used yardage in lieu of charms. if you buy yardage for the background. you can make 4 flying geese with 1 charm. by using a 6" background square with a 4-1/2" geese square. but if you look closely you will find i used 2 4-1/2" squares to make what i am calling a 3-1/2" faux-facing-geese.

Starscape

2 more. 12 stars done. 68 more to go.with 8 different fabrics you could really make 8 different stars.
while 8 different stars made me crazy.
seeing 4 different ones with a twin made me calm.

My First Jelly Roll

well. that's not the whole truth. long ago my sister and i used to make those jam jelly rolls. they were so delicious. and a bit messy. and i won't bake cookies without my insulated jelly roll pan. but my very first fabric jelly roll is on its way to me as we speak. that's right. i won the flower table runner contest. yippee. take a peek here to see the other runners that were made.

hey sis. let's not sew on Friday. i feel like making a sweet jelly roll. just kidding. we really have to sew. but if you find the recipe and put all the ingredients on the counter. pretty please. i promise to get it in the oven before you get back from your appointment.

if she takes the bait maybe i'll show you what we're working on...
